REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINOLOGY
AND
INFERTILITY
AT THE UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO

INFERTILITY

In 1998, the federal Centers for Disease Control released a government study of fertility programs nationwide based on 1996 data. The report measured success in terms of live births per in vitro fertilization cycle. Using this measurement of success, the University of Chicago Hospitals had one of the highest in vitro fertilization success rates among hospitals in Chicago.

Our specialists use the most advanced techniques to treat couples who are unable to conceive, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) for male factor infertility, a donor egg program, and blastocyst embryo transfers. These procedures are performed at the University of Chicago Hospitals. Office visits are available at the University of Chicago Hospitals and at our offices in Berwyn, Matteson, and Merrillville, Indiana.

REPRODUCTIVE ENDOCRINOLOGY

Our specialists provide treatment for women with problems of the reproductive system including endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, uterine fibroids, abnormal bleeding, absence of menstrual periods, menopause and premature menopause, excessive hair growth, and more. This specialty care is available at the University of Chicago Hospitals and at our offices in Berwyn, Matteson, and Merrillville, Indiana.
