As many of us know from the signs that light up the city at night, neon casts a bright orange light when it is activated. Out of habit, we do call different colored signs "neon," but the other colors are from colored glass, not colored gas.
What colors of the spectrum (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo & violet) do you think will will stand out most in Neon's "signature?" To find out, play the movie located below.
As you can see, Neon's signature mostly shows the portion of the spectrum from red to yellow, with a small amount of green. It is the brightest of the gasses in our exhibit..
